Beware Tonight (Wild Hunt Poem)

Beware tonight the coming Wild Hunt
For even long lives will end too soon
You must sharpen up your athame blunt
Should you venture under this full moon
Go out, live large, then take a chance
But do be careful what you wish for
For striking horsemen throw a lightning lance
And its only lost souls lame gods fish for
The milky way is but an olde spirit river
Safe far beyond the hounds-of-hell in chains
If heard below its rattling makes you shiver
You'd best take flight by Life's bold reigns
Bring passions on through blood sport!
Come join us chasing down our dreams
Its far too late to cop out or mildly abort
No Wild Hunts end 'til someone screams
Beware tonight's dark hounds cast loose
Watch out for black horsemen riding clouds
If your athame's blunt, not sharp, obtuse
You run the risk of being called out loud...
