Timeless Evening Sky

When I think back to this time of year in two thousand and one the only thing that makes me smile is howard stern's irreverent making light of dark things as they were bless him but i am also reminded of how clear then the skies were in those solemn days after 9/11 and how i thought we had not seen skies so pristine and perfectly seamless for many years and perhaps we would not again until the end of our new beginning days for there was not one jet's vapour trail to be seen above and that was the only Beauty we could find then but who among us have not noticed that seven years after the skies are clear again once more even though there are still now seven-forty-sevens and the like criss-crossing the vast blue abve this summer but they leave not traces from where they have come nor clues about which away we may be going for the fact of the matter is that water vapour you know is by far the greatest of the greenhouse gases and what with the new balanced positions of the planets about us now our Sun has become so relatively quiet (i bet you have not seen much in the way of northern lights this year either but i digress) anyway when the upper atmosphere rapidly cools the way it has in recent months all those greenhouse gases i mean water really just condenses and what do you know who among Her has not noticed all the low lying cloud cover we have seen this summer and the rain... oh the glorious revitalizing beautiful replenishing rain... the sunset tonight once again is truly timeless.
