Life That's Left

Life that's Left...
(Samhain 2008)
Our Sun has set
the leaves are gone
There is no more use pretending...
We paid our debt
the pain's now gone
There's no words left worth sending
Our bog's still wet
though Summer's gone
And our garden's not worth tending
You've cast your net
the fish are gone
We've nothing left worth lending...
Deer blood's now let
Love's glory's gone
Our Life yet worth defending!
