It’s a warmer wind now blowing
Outwards from your nation’s border
Where Hopes high today are growing
For a new kinder gentler world order
With these warm winds a change is coming
But will fierce lions lie down for the mouse?
Will your parade bands keep on drumming
With a good black man in their White house?
There are darker veiled shadows looming
On this warm November evening’s reprieve
Hinting at a chaos they’ve been grooming
But on this mild night fears must take leave
It’s a warmer breeze now drifting north
Up from your more united southern states
But there’s a foul smell its wafting forth
For their missiles guard still heaven’s gates
This warm evening marks changes' arrival
But will war-mongers cease their fearful grouse?
Will gentler commanders target Earth’s survival
With a good black man in their White house?
