If I could put the Sun in harness
We might name our horse Eclipse
We'd drive him into the moon's shadow
Where I could gently kiss your lips
If I could preserve all the snow flakes
We might name each one a work of art
We'd create as much time as it takes
Like the forever you'll be in my falling heart
If I could bottle up the fresh spring air
We might name each sweet blossom scent
We'd breathe lilac and balsam through your hair
With all flowered blooms so awesome lent
If I could saddle up warm summer days
We might ride forever named true friends
O'er green pastures where old horses graze
Like my Love once pledged never ends...
If I could paint in all autumn's subtle colour
We might see how fortunate we really are
We'd drive ardently unto a sunset stellar
Falling through trees our Love a shooting star
