Upon White Wings of Love

Night Wings of Love

Come to me bright and fair, luminescent
Far beyond the cold city lights and violence
Beneath this evening's peaceful lunar crescent
Where two lone white wolves pierce the silence
Set then down with me two evening stars
I want to get to know your moon she-wolf howl
If you are truly Venus I must be your Mars
Come take flight to me an ardent snowy owl
Glide with me glistening in black silhouette
Across this golden twighlit sky let us embark
We're white fur and feather listening in the sunset
There let us succumb becoming shadows dark
Soar high with me into mystery's black night
As frost calm and quiet comes to ground
For you I burn through history a first star bright
Then when lost at last we finally both are found
Shine here with me bright and fair, luminescent
Against the gathering dark days end above
Fly unto this blessed evening's lunar crescent
Two white birds of prey upon night wings of Love
