Yuletide Light

If you still want to get together
You must meet me at least half-way
For we could bring back warmer weather
When you give up your cold dark way
If you lcherish our warm spring day fun
You should through winter be a friend
For I can stay quiet like this cooler sun
Until we bring closure to Love’s end
You want me to get back to you
And you know I'll do circles as you say
But I’ll not behold you ‘neath skies blue
If you’ll not see me through clouds gray
If you really miss our pillowed talk
You’d find more zen time for our arts
When you’re ready for a willowed walk
Come spring lets thaw our frozen hearts
You know I’d love to get together
But you’ll have to meet me least half-way
For coldly we'd bring more winter weather
If not by Yuletide Light until past May Day
