O
I still don't let myself believe in Fate
For when I do into your vast depth I fall
Unto the black endless starry void of Night
Past the chaos and the glory of it All
No, I really can not believe in It of late
For thoughts fateful take me back to Love
Where I am ever blinded by Her moonlight
Thrusting downward as She shines above
Please lead me not on to Heaven’s gate
Then leave me standing erect, a lone god
There is no such warmth from Sunlight bright
Until lest it falls through trees unto damp sod
For my goddess and the Earth I'll ever wait
Pretending we old souls have that much time…
Just staring e'er longing into dark eyes bright
Trust ascending whole through mystic rhyme
We will not now let ourselves believe in Fate
Nor succumb easily towards dark history’s duty
Just suspending fondly active in ecstatic height
From beyond the siren call of mystery's beauty
