Fierce Mothers, Feline Crones

Thin deer are out now in brown open fields
For dark pine woods lie deep still with snow
They left the sheltering cedar swamp that shields
And grey wolves follow where deer hungry go
There’s slim urban women at the shopping mall
And for each a man lies sloth asleep at home
They each left wondering if men care at all
Lithe cougars go where deer & old wolves roam
Alone stalk city-girls through Life’s chic bi-ways
Leaving to worn arm-chairs TV-sportsmen howling
While white-tailed sprites run out on slick high-ways
Amidst skidding SUVs and driven women prowling
Now both does and predators come into town
While wild women feline head out for romance
They leave a mundane death to dance Life down
Among grey wolves wise cougars take that chance
These deer-like creatures walk on divine alone
As sloth men snore and slumber out-of-fashion
Each fierce mother both prone maiden, feline crone
Bold cougars follow deer numbers with passion!
