No One Good Man…

A distant phone rings on unanswered
Nearby a tree creaks eery for the wind
Show me any thing no one man’s feared
Or even one good man who’s never sinned…
Softly overhead dense gray clouds part
Beneath hard hooves thundering unto You
No Sun forever shines ‘tween avowed hearts
Yet, at times, still black waters turn to blue…
Inside dark silence paints an empty house
While outside evening skies get drenched in wine
Light casts gray owls dark in elms & tree boughs
Like our shadowed silhouette now wrenched Divine
Somewhere else another child goes wanting
Sometimes a mother just needs be left alone
When caressed a wind more mild blows haunting
Such gray thoughts learned burn fathers unto stone…
