Blind Justice.

Hatred, Insanity which causes one to be so cruel?
Love, Greed either can inspire action from the fool.
Vision, blindness allowing for the karmic plan to unfold.
Talking, silence but the depth of true thoughts untold.
Closeness, distance still the mind and heart can't let go.
Dreaming, insomnia restlessness for the shattered soul.
It can't be real, the heartache we feel.
Things done for a warm bed and meal,
answer to the fate of the spinning wheel.
Focus, Impartiality change with the wind.
Memory, forgetfulness of those we have sinned.
Carefulness, neglect for the things of the heart.
Creation, destruction and the lie "we'd never part".
Friends, enemies yet we still end up alone.
Id, ego has control and always sets the tone.
It's all too real, this heartache I feel.
Things said and things that you steal,
answer to the fate of the spinning wheel.
Faith, hopelessness yet the heart still loves the dream.
Calmness, chaos but deep within I want to scream.
Laughing, crying no one seems to really care.
Performing, hiding from view of the constant stares.
Honour, embarrassment from the ones we trust most.
Stability, freedom I'm off to the West Coast.
Has it ever been real, this love that I feel?
Things imagined or the cards that I deal
answer to the fate of the ever-spinning wheel.
