You see we’re not against religion
But your one theistic god is dead
Sometimes the Dove’s just a white pigeon
We don’t believe what robed men said
On the other side of science
We must embrace this new world view
Your god's been used to justify mens violence
We don’t believe god wins fights nor wars for you
On the other side of physics
God’s miracles are trumped up in natural law
Your old Christian priests were lame mystics
We believe Life circles gold in flames & awe
On the other side of Charles Darwin
Your god is dead, and ready for cremation
Life began far back in fossil record, we therein
We reject this flat-earth nonsense: divine creation
Your god’s no white male deity in clouds above
He pulls not favors intervening just for you
Sometimes god's dove is really our Trust in Love
We don’t believe His written words all true...
