Fill up our cups with wine red my dear
That me might toast the setting solstice sun
Raise our glasses to the fact that we are here
And to litha light and summers filled with fun!
Hold your crystal goblet high my Love
To take in this setting sun drinking liquid ruby
Here is to the bright blue fading sky above
Break not these our true hearts ardent yet to be
Cheers to this our summers' warmth now gaining
Wake with me tomorrow proud within our season
Fear is darkness not but just your first Light waning
Stake not thee sorrows loud within protest's reason
Set our solstice table feast with fine red wine
Leave behind all thoughts of dark winter dread
Let's notice able beasts - how we're apart, Divine
Believe then find how hot our comings are instead!
Let me fill your chalice up this time of year
When after I've danced bright upon your hips
Set down then still - the fall's not yet nigh my dear
In laughter then I bow low to take the Lightest sips!
