The War

Age Group: Adult
We raise are hands into the air,
looking at are death and despair.
The gun shooting the bombs flying,
seeing all are friends dying.
The hopes of end will never die,
not only us but the other side.
Now if the government could decide,
to save are souls and find there crime.
In are dark mud made home,
trying to make are pain known.
Missing the times we spent together,
knowing we will die and be here forever.
See the kid run then scream,
not knowing what this all means.
Feeling the bullet pierce your chest,
know your death is next.
Watching your blood spew from your heart,
seeing your friends try to be smart.
Your time is here it is know,
and you still don’t know how.
Your heart beets faster,
your breath is shorter,
the war to you is now over.
Author's Notes: All I remember is writing this a long time ago and loved it then still love it now.
