The Chosen

Too few men were fit to love Her
Those must be ever strong who do
Only angels rise above Her
Unto bright cloudless skies true blue
When lonely rains are falling down
Good men just know She's crying tears
Within the flood men lesser drown
Those greater help confront Her fears
Too few men are fit to love Her
When the moon in Aries rises
Those small-minded who might shove Her
Find when lit She boldly surprises!
Yet come morning birds are singing
And sunlight dances on Her hair
Gods to goddesses are bringing
Things luminous that take you there
Too few men are fit to love Her
Their lusts too weak to earn Her trust
Men lesser must then run for cover
Just the chosen match Her heart robust!
