As I lay in the Dark

Spirits of nature,
so lurid and bright,
harken to me,
on this dark blessed night.
Sing to my soul,
in your stark eldritch glow,
teach me the pleasures,
that only you know.
Bindeth my will, and my
voice to the song,
of the mighty fae dance,
in the thick of the throng,
show me thy ways,
as the elder bards knew,
when they captured the rhythm,
of wind as it blew.
Come to me physically,
beauty in form,
that the length of the night,
we should keep ourselves warm.
Spirits of wonder,
and mystery fae,
come to me here,
in the dark,
as I lay.
