The Elder Bard's Course

Age Group: Adult
Nought for torpidity,
breaching lucidity,
eloquent, reverent,
wandering long.
Strange in reunion,
to blessed confusion,
feral and focused,
the elder bard's song.
Breaching in majesty,
aught for Elée,
staring in wondrous,
thunderous stay.
Practised on principle,
tragic and tried,
woe for the morning,
our memory died.
Straight on to paradise,
locked to the dream,
faultless in spirit,
as misty white steam.
Eloquent, opulent,
hopeful in force,
the stars play the rhythm,
the gods mark the course.
