Last eve re-lit old flames and Love
Warming still come morning's afterglow
In the Sun today its three above
But in the shade its three below
Before we pass through darkness into Light
Cold northern winter winds will blow
Against black Solstice shines our star bright
Reflected sparkling myriad in fresh snow
Lie down with me upon sheets clean, white
Beyond dark doubt come dawn trust that may we know
What's the difference between wrong and right
When clouds heavy break then we just let go...
Two dark kindred souls by Yule unite
Beneath early winter's first half moon
Making up then for our longest night
Re-kindled on this re-turning afternoon
Last eve we re-lit old flames of Love
Still warming come the sunset's afterglow
In sunshine today 'twas three above
But in the shade 'twas three below
