Sisters Three

by Doyenne Solace Arcanna ShadoeWalker

Age Group: Adult

I tell a story of Sisters three
They who were the beginning of ye and me

Sister one under waning Moon young and sweet as pure in Light
Sister two is Mother ripe She you'll find under full Moons sight
Sister three is elder here and Under waning moon delights

I tell the story of Sisters three
that begins the story of ye and me

Maiden by these Names is known
Nimue Rhiannon Persephone
Imbolc is when we call Her to dance
Jonquil roses and moon lilies bright
Ribbons yellow of green and of white
Shimmer and dance on the altar tonight
for the Maiden fair under silver light

I tell you of the Sisters Three
that begins the journey of ye and me

Mother now the Calls for you
Known by us as Asarte Cybele and Danu
Under Beltane Full Orange Moon
a Circle begun brings life anew
Fire Bale and Chalice too
The Wheel turns round our line ensues

I speak the tale of Sisters three
the beginning now of me and thee

Elder Sister this Call intone
this is how we name The Crone
Hecate Isis Morrighane
in wisdom wise in darkness cloaked
She parts the veil and Gates She opes
She who is our escort home
black and orange silver and gold
colours lay the altar stone
jet and sage oak and Wine
bring us to the end of time

I tell a story of Sisters Three
The beginning of all of me and thee

Maiden young in Light and life not for her the ravens strife
Mother gentle Mother kind She knows when to kiss and knows when to bind
Elder Mother Crone we name, Wisdom warfare Death her Domain
When viels thin and darkness falls These three Sisters now I call

Guide us sisters keep us safe
teach us now our Sisters Fate
Mother Maiden Crone we Call
Circles Sabbats Protect them all

I speak the tale of Sisters three
the beginning now of me and thee

Silver Moon and Water Shower we call on you and here we bide
Sister Daughters Mother Bride from her light no need to hide
Maiden young begins the Wheel and Mothers power her form belie
Elder Sister now returns the journey home with her will lie

I will tell you now of Sisters Three
Those before there was thee and me
