Tequila Sunrise

Lips so inviting
Breathing so close
Eyes so enticing
Beauty like a rose
Things get exciting
The sun shines so brightly
It's the middle of the day
The heat is unbearable
Your still wanting to play.
Bending and swaying,
Dancing in the light
Singing and laughing,
As we wait for the night.
The moon has risen
Our skin set aglow
The drinks keep refilling,
With nothing to show.
The bottle is dry,
As we all start to dance
Our shadows following us,
Mocking our stance.
The sky starts spinning,
Making a mix of blue and white.
Oh how glorious!
This wonderful sight!
Sprawled on the ground
Our hands joined together
We wish this could last,
A day and forever...
Author's Notes: I don't know why. I originally called it tequila. I figured the sunrise was more adequate though.
