Meet me some late afternoon
Before the warm spring sun sets low
At rural crossroads from time soon
Among gold friendship's fields we sew
Cast out seeds of Love far-strewn
Upon deep Earth 'midst stones we hoe
Past doubt's need 'bove barrens dune
Come dawn rebirth as green blades grow!
Greet me one lone trout lake loon
When pussy willows start to show
Where spring's birds sing their own tune
Beside ancestral streams aflow
At long last live Life aswoon
For its new fawns that make the doe
Forget cruel deaths by black crude bruins
For our breath synced defies the undertow
Treat us 'neath Ostara's warm moon
With our hearts bright and 'souls aglow
Then let's retreat to our old home hand-hewn
Before cold winds of change again must blow
