World Divided
by Cernunnos Poetry

World Divided
One thin fifth of our world hungers
An other fat fifth just eats more
One fifth fanatic backs war-mongers
While two fifths wonder what's in store...
One more Indian farmer takes his life
When corporations clone grain seed
Their poor widows struggle on in strife
While rich nations thrive 'pon greed
One more plump white texan takes up arms
In contempt of true democracy
Oblivious to all greater harms
The right thus spreads hypocracy
From eastern deserts there comes thunder
Though from here their blue skies seem clear
Rockets launched take all god-fearing under
And bring religious wars too near
One thin fifth of our world hungers
And one white fat fifth just eats more
One fifth fanatic backs war-mongers
While the rest just wonder what's in store...
