Circles 'bout the Moon

Circles 'bout the Moon
There are fae rings in the forest
Encircling cedars with mushrooms
Golden bands around our fingers
And silver mists about the Moon
There are ripples on the water
That radiate from out spells cast
Like a pebble breaking surface
With time grows calm again at last
There's round holes in this plain of rock
Where hag torrents drilled through limestones
Above, here ring-necked pheasant cock
Below lies loamed ancestral bones
The seasons turning know not ends
When maidens gather 'round spring's birth
Come autumn lovers become friends
Our Sun's encircled by Her Earth
There are fae rings in the forest
Encircling tall trees with mushrooms
These gold bands around our fingers
Please cold mists silver 'bout the Moon
