She Comes Thrice Back in Time
When hoof beats echo through the mist
In the dusk of mid December
I'm returned to our ancient tryst
She's the dark wolf I'll remember
When drum beats echo 'mong the trees
Beyond our Light fire circles
I'm returned to Her Earth, 'pon knees
Once downed She showed me miracles
When heart beats echo in a fog
So thick I can't tell wrong from right
I'm returned to mine solstice bog
Upon this slick dark winter's night
When black wings beat within a cloud
And Raven cackles in the distance
I'm returned to Love spoke aloud
Her words high above this instance
When hoof beats echo through the mist
Upon this turning point in rhyme
I'm returned to a goddess kissed
The One who comes thrice back in Time
