Opal Moon Divine

Opal Moon Divine
She shines like sun-rays through dark trees
From dawn’s bright silence where She hides
Her beauty brings me to mine knees
For in all Nature's mornings She resides
Each autumn equinox we meet
Two equal opposites, together
She bids farewell ‘soon as we greet
And so fall leaves through changling weather
I’ll think of Her through winters’ strong
When e’er an opal moon shines bright
‘Pon snow solstice drifts from where I long
Reflecting on how She lightens night
In spring She paints bleak landscapes green
Life from Her palette, re-ascendance
To barren rocks She brush-strokes Love’s sheen
Re-leaved beneath Her lunar iridescence
Rewinged She comes the summer breeze
Whispered 'pon lips warm, lightly, soft…
Hearts re-aligned Earth-Moon-Sun seize
Then She rides Eclipse, divine, aloft!
