Start from Where you Stand

To begin again
And start anew
You start from
Where you stand
Don’t you give
What’s behind
A sad last
Longing look
Put on a brand new face
And run another race
You will find
You can withstand
Don’t be stalled
By old defeats
Start and win
Success anew
For what’s ahead
Though time be fleet
Truly belongs to you
Leave stress and strain
And buried woes
Forget those dread despairs,
Here is a brand new trial
So laugh and smile
And start from
Where you stand
What has been
Is already gone
By it you are
Neither blessed
Nor damned
The future’s for those,
Who do and dare
So start from
