Thrice the circle cast,
to protect and hold.
Thrice the power told,
and before me held fast.
Circle bound, then freed,
the Stag is loosed from me.
Released into the woods,
with a promise to run far,
lest it make this heart bleed.
Thrice the circle cast,
to protect and hold.
Thrice the power told,
and before me held fast.
Circle round, then freed,
the Bird is loosed from me.
Released into the sky,
with a promise to fly free,
lest it break this one creed.
Thrice the circle cast,
to protect and hold.
Thrice the power told,
and before me held fast.
Circle bound, then freed,
the Wolf is loosed from me.
Released into the world,
with a promise to harm none,
lest it make this heart bleed.
Thrice the circle cast,
to protect and hold.
Thrice the power told,
and before me held fast.
Circle round, then freed,
the Fish is loosed from me.
Released into the water,
with a promise to return,
lest it break this one creed.
Thrice the circle cast,
to protect and hold.
Thrice the power told,
and before me held fast.

Author's Notes: sort of a circle, calling the quarters thing.
