nightly skies

No longer do dark clouds cover my nightly skies
I now can see all the stars in your eyes
And the moon that shines upon your face
And the passion, the nuance of our embrace
All the roses could not be seen through this glass
For so deep the romance it evermore lasts
And in our grasp, our hands held tight
Through the deepest darkest of any night
The nightly skies we sit now under
Offers no darkness but a glittered wonder
And with you I see forever and a day
Of this I am sure in every way
