Ancestor Prayer

Lo there do I see my Mother. Lo there do I see my Father.
In my sisters and in my brothers.
From our sons and daughters down the long line of our Ancestors that leads us back to the beginning.
And though they do call to me.
I will stay here; for a while.
Until I too must take my place, round the table.
Amoung the Honoured Dead.
We are here because of the path that lays behind us,
Not because of where we are going; or where we are.
But remember:
The past is a memory.
The future...still but a dream.
Now is the Time, We are the One's.
Author's Notes: This is an emalgamation of the Norse Prayer in The 13th Warrior and Morphius' speach to the people of Zion in The Matrix.
