Forever Alone

Where were you when I needed you
When you left me all alone
When the lights seemed to fade
When it seemed like I had no home
Where were you when I fell
When I desired a hand
When I needed to stand
and when I finally left these lands
Where were you when I thrived
When I had a success and
When I finally stood
When I realised that I could
You are not here now
You were not here then
But I cant help but wonder
Where were you way back when?
