Pyromancy

Priestess’ in-laws’ cherry yard,
Shack all marred and falls apart.
Burning grape-vines,
Tinkling wind chimes.
Red wine’s straightening the brain,
So focused but yet so insane.
Heart is yearning,
She’s not returning.
Through the night the fire’s blaze,
Wood is lit by heat and grace.
Staring and gazing,
Confusing and dazing.
Wisdom and knowledge revealed by a fume,
Heard by heart, told by lips into the gloom.
Divining the ember,
Finding things I remember.
