Fair Lady Hekate

Age Group: Adult
Entangled stars upon her hair,
the sun engulfs her face so fair.
Gleaming eyes in the night so dark,
together with a ghost-dog's bark.
Black her mantle, firm her thought,
sword in hand, men harming not.
Graceful lady, Witches˘ Queen,
Hekate, you, Goddess unseen.
A rope, a key, an athame steel,
entwined they form your sacred seal.
They˘ve called upon you those of old,
now long passed, fallen and cold.
However their whispers still remain,
in sky, earth, sea, in your domain.
Hekate Goddess, blinding light,
greatest of all is your might.
Oh torch-bearing maiden,
ease those with grief laden.
Lasting your power,
like a standing tower.
In times of need,
our calls do heed.
Hekate Goddess, hear my cry,
descend now, come to my side,
and my troubles please set aside.
