My Luck Is Running Out

Age Group: Adult
And so her ageless face held no expression
Though her eyes danced with laughter
She laughed, wondering
Why she thought life so incredibly amusing
And despite all she felt and all she did
Her face remained expressionless and dangerous
Someone who gets her respect
Someone who doesn't have to say anything to convey meaning...
And what she had laughed about
Was when she said
"My luck is running out..."
