I'm Alive Again! - Die cruelty, Die suffering...

Die, cruelty, for thou hast no power over me!
Your crusade, cruelty, shall suffer its proper defeat
I can walk and dance with freedom to my own beat
I need you not, surely this is obvious to see!
Die, suffering, I told you away before, to cease to be!
One end is of light and the other is dark, they meet
See them here, a whole, conquering great feats!
And if I so wish it I can sit down with my cup of tea…
Without you! Oh, the freedom that rings
And though my heart is heavy still
Of a promise my ears sing
And if I may, I shall do what I will
While I wait for this special thing
Keep quiet, heart, your time will come, keep still…

Things I wish to say: first off, a BIG hug to Joseph, I am working on a reply!
Second off, thank you Michael for writing me... I'm glad someone listened.
Ok, about the poem: I wrote a poem in Hungarian (6 pages) called Szenvedek (which means "I'm Suffering") , and it was quite powerful. It ended with a lot of lines that sent Suffering on its way. It was very specific to what's going on with me at the moment... so naturally, writing it out had an effect on me. Nevertheless, these things do not evaporate like the morning's dew: of course it stayed. Yesterday too, I suffered all day, or I was in this strange 'neutral' state of being. Yes, *sigh* I'm still waiting...
About the form: as you might notice, the lines are written in Sonnet form, though the rhythms are different, so I don't think it could quite be classified as such. I was just learning about a poet in the Renessance (no, not Shakespeare) who wrote sonnets, and I got inspired. I wrote another one with the same abba, abba, cdc, dcd form, but I still have to type that up.
There are just LOADS of important poems that I haven't put up yet that are important. Well... I'll try to work on that backlog. Until then, hugs,
