Being One of Me

Being One of Me
Nobody said being new was easy
Yet I’m succeeding in convincing myself so
Perhaps I’ve done it so many times
It’s so much easier to just let go…
Brave confidence is a key
Never without a healthy dose of lack of caring
I’m trying not to hate it, but it’s burning me alive
Complicate it, and someday you’ll see
Being one of me is hard stuff
No one expects me to just fit in
No one expects that I wouldn’t want to anyway
They see it as normal perhaps, can’t win
They see what I do, and name it an odd bravery
But it’s not hard to not care
Not hard to be myself
What you see is what I am
Don’t be in denial about what’s outside
‘Cause I can be an inverted Soul
All you have to know about me
Is that the good stuff’s inside
Up to you to delve into my enigmatic mind
Author's Notes: Yus, it's true... I started posting again... heh, well. I've changed, my life has changed (drastically) , and, and... er... yeah, I'm stronger, sadder, and my poetry's style is changing aswell. (So are my typos.)
Well... I still love that guy... still? I never stopped, never will, tho we got into a fight... misunderstanding-fight-thing. I was very, very depressed, but I grew strong from it.
I go to a new school now... I'm trying not to hate it... and this poem was partly about that. Anyone remember The Love Stories of Hungary? Wooo, that's the most out-of-date poem up here, I think...
...please, someone tell me I'm still sane. I feel crazy. NOW I've experienced the depth of many things. I'm on a different level... Hellen tells me something: if you're wearing the BLUE STONE, then write to me. *shrugs, grins* long story, but hey: if she says so, must be a reason.
