The Spider, the Mouse, and the Fly (a bit morbid)

The Spider, the Mouse, and the Fly
Death of a love like the spider
at the bottom of the room’s panorama
Soothed by death, eased to Otherworld
A lost life, crushed beneath a deadly weight
was the spider’s life at an end
Embodied in the little weaver perhaps
was the pain I carry inside… the love that
curled up and died
A living hell has become around me
my life entrusted to grief and searing
Too near you I am, walking in your lands
For hope… shall I give my everything
Denied the freedom of life to return
to the hollow past, old patterns that tense
Too thin a paper to cover my bleeding
The scurry of fear, driven mania
A move discourages explorers, am I as discouraged
Let to suffer for what I thought to be
I saved what I could… scurry into the shadows
the dark pits of existence, wherein I was
ironically first found there, yes, in the depths
You found me the siren’s calling
The mouse of fear is timid and quick to depart
Leaving not a trace, no place to eliminate
Fear escapes me, death eludes me, faces me
Surrounded by my black weaving of veils
I sing from rage and hammer my fists on the walls of grief
Insolent is the fly that dares to confront me
Disturb me in my disturbing dreams
Perhaps they are realer than I must seem
I abide by the laws of life, yet life itself had left that
which I only dared wonder what it was like, until
it found me… already steeping in my misery
Disturb me no more, I wish to die alone
For alone is the one that coaxes out of me the black veils
The feeling… is it gone? Yet I did not fail…
Author's Notes: The teachings of signs, the death I lived through that time.... when life collapsed...... and was rebuilt.
I strive to get what I deserve after all that suffering.
