Eternal Hell

Eternal hell is what burns
When I realize the final end
No final words, lines…
None of it ever happened.
It was I, wasn’t it, who moved on
I who closed the curtains, the windows
And yet behind them is hidden a hurt
But only a glimmer of light, a fading glow…
My choice was the eternal darkness
And the walking of my path
It was my decision that I wouldn’t stand for it
It wasn’t worth it, and I ended it at last.
But when I received the message
That I would never even see you from a distance again
Had made my heart stop, as finality sunk it’s teeth in
Nothing could ever erase the traces of the game.
What is the sharpest of the knives
Is what I had wished for and almost got
But I had to realize that I deserve better
Despite that, it hurts… it hurts a lot.
I don’t want it to hurt anymore
And I wish I could forget
Sometimes I realize that my thoughts aren’t set right
…sometimes I still wish it would never end.
Author's Notes: Dammit… I feel so miserable… I can’t put it into words. All week I was so determined to have a good time, and feel great, and… I did it… but when… there’s something about the way things keep ending around me that makes me feel so incredibly sad.
I need help. I need to move on. I... well, nevermind.
