Storm Cloud

Storm cloud
Hovering over my land
Stormy skies
Covered with clouds
Shades of gray
Lightening as the break comes
The break of the new day
An early rise
And a late night
The sky is peace
And peace is in I
What makes the cloud come
Makes me close my eyes
As sleep dawns upon my new day
It is dreams that I see
That is what a late night is for
It can be taken as an early rise
And so I search the graying, lightening sky
I search to see what I cannot see
And I see only a memory
The gray sky is covering my land
And I comfortably bury myself away
Sleeping finally
Even as begins a newer day
I remain here and think up there
My thoughts bent on a pleasant rain
As storm clouds cover my land
I wonder if these clouds had covered a land before
I wonder if what I see is seen by someone else
I wonder if my wondering makes my wondering
Into simple wonder…
The storm cloud
Is lightening
From the day
Breaking behind it
Rolling over the hill
In the East
Where the sun shall rise
The storm cloud is pleasant
Even though it is gray
The colors only lighten
Giving way to another day…
And I unravel
Into my pillow I rest
I let myself go
To make tomorrow my best
I let sleep take my rain clouds on
I let in my sleep this rain come
I let myself drift between realities
And I see my storm cloud
Gliding across me
Above me
Below me
Wherever it is
That I might be…
