Freedom in Hell

Sound and shadowed canyons
They are alike and live within each other
Without each other there’s no memory
No echo to be taught
No thread to balance upon
This is where you stand, on the thread of echo
The cliff of normality starts here, and plunged…
Into chaos
The beauty of the hell that awaits
It’s odd simplicity leads you to the massive black gates, and
Beyond is what you sought…
What brought you here, the violent riffs
That kissed your mind tenderly
And brutally tossed aside your chains
And now you are all that remains
You are free to go beyond
And explore the heaven of freedom
Though in hell’s disguise it taunts you…
But in reality, freedom wants you
And you approach it with strength and depth
And in the end, freedom shall breathe
The frosty breath of truth upon you
And your eyes shall open to see
…and once you have been freed
The time has come to heed the teachings
Of canyon lines, the implications and intricate meanings
That can take you blasting out of the underworld
And into the light… if you chose to fight
And as you fight, you feel hell at your heels
The deathly heat that makes you alive, lets you feel
Coming outside, into the cool night air…
Your seeking eyes hold what you meet there
And the road is clear, you may proceed
To more peace than you had deemed…
All this, the gift of echo
Of the sound that pounds you into the depths
And sculpts out of you a warrior
And a warrior you shall forever remain
Until you let loose out your last breath…
