Total Standstill

Ears only forbidden from the undesired
Complying gladly
And sadly…
Since all they want to hear makes them ache
From an undefined questioning
And hopeless restrictions of connecting thoughts.
Eyes only resting on the singled out mood-makers
Many years into the future they unfocus to
In love will speak
Why do the ears hear something that makes your head spin left
When in truth, it is to be twisted right
Causing a painful standstill.
Where only darkness can comfort the eyes that do not want to see
Where only the sorrowfully good can put the ears at ease.
Words will not spill out to explain
What this shut eyed, closed eared state means
No words will spin in the direction you want them to
No point to be made…
The voice only complies to what the ears want to hear
And they blur the vision of the eyes.
Every moment the book is faced
And in a standstill is my mind.
Can anyone understand?
Oh, yes, there must be.
This complete standstill.
