End of the Line

Age Group: Adult
Only at the end of my life
Will I feel settled and content
For having paid all my dues
And seeing all of my credits spent.
Only at the last bit of my line
Will I say I have fulfilled what I said
Only then can I say that I’ve died
For what I told myself would make me soon dead.
Once I’ve reached the last scene
And I’ve entered my eternal dream
I’ll revisit my past, all memories forever lasting
And only then will I understand why I have reached my Passing.
