A song that touches your heart
by Widdershins
Age Group: Adult
A song that touches your heart
Is like a draught of your soul
And when you feel the breeze of love push your bangs
You might feel the sense that you are in an Earthly place
You can taste the scent of Earth in your mouth
And soft rain dazzles your puzzled, dancing eyes
A sound that calls you out
From the depths of your shadows
It holds you by your spirit
The one that holds your life
And you lift your gaze to the golden, rising moon
Changing, morphing to her silver gown
Spreading a mist of light onto the straining eyes
To see the roads ahead and to realize
A voice that has always spoken of cool air and warm nights
Of course, when else would those stars shine?
The first time in years that you release your body to a total loose
The feeling is overwhelming
Calming… into another dream
Count to eleven very slowly
And keep your eyes fixed right here
Now listen to your voices
Giving you options, showing you choices…
Live on Earth again…
