Saw fit to leave

He who hath betrayed my trust…
had been so kindly in words,
yet sleeping in the grove and glass shards—
trust lay her head to do what she must.
Mistress of all kinds of taunts,
she made clear that it all happened as she
desired, and so was born… the new
words and manner that no one had expected…
Was it coincidence (there’s no such thing)
that just then did the jingle ring out,
that talk we must? So had begun
the new age of a rising Lammas sun…
In the depth of the darkest hours
of suppressed fire blooming out (sweetness delayed)
and a thirst to prove myself beyond your needs
so had I ended as I saw fit to leave…

Author's Notes: o_o ye know how weird it is when everything ye did magick for and wished for happens, but ye've still got to prove your boundaries? Kinda similar. XD
