Hope Undone
by Widdershins
Age Group: Adult
The laments that have wafted searing silence
through the open windows thrust wide for new tides
had left false hopes writhing inside
of things undone…
The colorful games that had marked the way
have bound themselves to my fate, so changed
and through it all the hope remains
of things undone…
We sought out our truths to find corruption
and lies had blackened the way with evil soot
lying in wait for the eternal feral moment
the hope is crying, dying
for things undone…
The tides, they have won
and it is my hope that becomes
undone.
