I’d been waiting for orange
flash… again… flash…
orange, engraved black letters
the persistent knock on the lower part
of the transparent wall
the wave of joy that I’d been waiting for
there… it be! So Enigma
to have grown to this point, well
a damned hurricane with each word, what
is this? Such a secret, a softly sought truth
what newness lays sleeping
in you? Flash orange
and tell me you’re ready…
and please, lucky shamrock, don’t
give and take right away…
bring me time soon
that I may experience the depth
of your gift…
let the time come
swift…
