One, Two, Three… Love troubles for me…

One… pain,
two joy!
three confusion… suddenly—
disillusioned…
One is memory, two is to be truly happy, three…
why is all this bothering me…
First: god I hate you,
second: no one I love like you, three…
what’s happening to me?
One broke my heart,
two brought meaning back to my life,
three was on the way… and three seems
to be here to stay.
One has ruined my life,
two I deeply miss,
three… what shall I do with three?
Why does all of this bother me!
One is so hard to let go…
for the feelings that were stolen, I loath you now
two, if only… there wasn’t everything in between…
three? Oh, god three… what can I do, how blind I’ve been!
Two and three I trust
with their confessions to true, deep love
one had been my dreams fulfilled… until
cruelty had made my love be stilled…
where have you gone, one?
What has devoured your soul?
Where is the one I’d loved, and would have loved
to be held and to hold?
Two, what would I do without you…
you’ve saved my life, and held out next to me
even when I’d been so foolish, so blind…
two, I’ll never stop loving you… for filling
every empty inch, as I’ve told you…
I can’t love you enough, but were it not
for all the hindrances between us!
Three… thank you for being there for me…
I wish I could stay with you, but…
you’ve hurt me too.
One, Two, Three… so alike, so alike and all shared
a love with me… one had betrayed,
two is forever to stay, three… I don’t know about three…
One, Two, Three—
out of you all, two are those that my eyes see, and one
had captured me… tortured me… exists to torment me.
One, I’m letting you go…
with all the pain…
Two, stay by my side, I need you…
Three… god I wish I could believe you.
