Abusive love of far away

The abusive love of far away
had coldened a stone to crystal gaze…
frosty breath not felt, nor awed
for no warmth its ice did thaw…
to paradise unchecked and unseen…
a mere Buddha Fantasy…
Promise and abuse, love to induce
my ears to listen, heart to follow
tears to swallow today, tomorrow…
gouging my eyes out so I don’t have to see
the way you’d been abusing me.
Goddess, that spout! makes it come
Tumbling out, and down…
So hard to admit and voice…
that I’d endured it without asking…
but knowing
what I never wanted to find out.
