Goodnight in the forgotten realm of your forest

by Widdershins

Age Group: Adult

In the depth of your starless night, there
was some impartial and impassive heart… yours…

reach out… to me…

In the darkest moment of your weavings,
you’d stolen me a dream and presented it listlessly…

touch my face once… just once… you’re beautifully dark…

In your tormenting forest of existence, you
sought battle, you sought experience… and in my horror
I tried to pull away, but found myself tied… you tied me!

please… leave me be… just leave me be…

With a jerk you pulled me in, ignoring my cry of pain, continuing your crusade, and I tumbled through your traps and doors, your soul and scars that I could never see clearly, your speech muffled by your wraith-like silence, and staring only and solely at me… as I stumbled through the woods, seeking your forgotten realm, to still your pained heart into an easy and soft beating… but you wouldn’t let me… my energies coursed through you, in your hands, you stopped me, held me back from the obelisk of teleportation, that would take me to safety… you met me in your secret groves and tried to persuade me into staying, and I tried to leave, but you took me running, knocked me out with mere words, and plunged into the night… torn away from my light, I sought the clear shine of your dark eyes, but was lost in the blackness inside… thrown over a saddle, we went galloping away, and no matter how I fought, my energy seemed to be staved by a gentle hand on my neck… holding me… holding me down, to stare at the bare earth running past my near-sightless eyes, and grasping futilely at my bow, out of reach… no scimitar to wield, no chance to fight… no energy for telekinesis to lift me away… Rushing on, above me I could sometimes see the green trees pass over me… the vertigo of the starless black and the gentle, black hand… the ebony of a heart tainted, still silently awaiting, detached… in the forgotten corner of your forest grove…

Your love was poison and addiction…
your words less true than a straightforward lie…
your taunting friendliness defied by a sinister glint
in your near-black eyes…
you sought to take me down to hell with you
ignoring my realm of belief…
you carelessly tore downwards with my soul
to keep you company…
then… tried… and failed… to abandon me…
you knew not my nature, my heart
already scared…
and your mistake spits in your face the rest of your callous
chewed up and ruined before you, now try and put it on
now try and persuade, my will is too strong
now begin your fight, but be aware
that to you… I am blind…

Goodnight, little impassive heart…

Goodnight…

Author's Notes: This is a true story, in a way. If you've read "Ending the Fantasy story... forever", this would be the fantasy... a bit modified, but most of it is actually true, not in a physical sense, but in the communications, these were part of the events... it started with an RPG, see... and (not in quite this way, but with the essence unchanged, like the kidnap, the way it happened) this is what it started out as, before it went into the realm dubbed "reality", but which still remained a fantasy, if you get my drift. It was one scale more real because it didn't involve RP and making a plotline or using a character, but... sometimes reality is a devious dream...
This was basically what it was like to be in love with the wrong person. *shrug* if you want me to be perfectly blunt.

~Widdershins

(Sometimes I wonder if these would ever be found... what would come out of it... I mean, by the persons involved. XD I'd be rather terrified of it.)

(The "forgotten realm of your forest" is no coincidental naming... ;) RP... if you get my drift...)
