Biting the wrong jaw…

Biting the wrong jaw,
I see I’ve been here before,
only now… it feels so wrong…
or at least, it should…
your arms, still strong,
as I’d remembered from every dream,
you eyes still so deep
as I’d longed to drink from their gaze…
your hair, so changed…
a new personality…
maybe that’s what caught me.
But you make me shiver,
you make me cringe,
why then am I seeing this?
Why is it in your arms I find myself
in my dreams,
when I belong to another,
and I despise you so…
why do you haunt me,
why do you never let go…
