Secretly psychotic

So reclusive, to some repulsive
exclusively living in a little world
so closed and absurd,
the quiet man doing naught
avoided and shunned
the process has begun…
deep within the exterior of calm
a secret desire burns on
living to be seen by no one
to be encased in no other soul
the lonely hours untouched,
seeking no company
no friendship or contact
the wrath begotten sealed tightly
locked in a little box,
and each taunt deftly ignored…
there he sits alone, abhorred
having harmed none at all
spoken to none, the used man
lying in wait until he can no longer
the secret hunger devouring
explodes, it’s overpowering
the calm of the outcast is shattered
the secretly psychotic emerges
and through him a new life surges
his twisted and tormented mind
suddenly shows a new shade of life
one where he will be taunted no more
a life where no one shall avoid him for his taste
but for the no longer secret wrath in wait
and revenge drips like bitter honey
on his devouring and hungry lips
his memory is longer than any others’
and forever unquenched is his longing
to be ignored no longer…

Author's Notes: Well, this is inspired by a classmate of mine who is very secluded and pretty unpopular. He's not really hated or bullied, he's just avoided, and usually is used by some other classmates of mine. I'd been talking with some of my other classmates and we were musing that the kind of people who just let themselves be pushed around like that are often the ones that hide a secret 'psychotic'. Though I do not agree with even these classmates' mistreatment of him, I started to wonder about how it is that people do the strangest things, and how it is that it's usually exactly the person who you'd never expect. He looks so serene and like he'd never hurt a fly, and he never really talks to anyone, but I often wonder about who he is. Though we've been classmates for 2 years now, I still don't know much more about him than his name. Who knows what he hides? Some of my nicer classmates just pity him... but I wonder why they'd humiliate him by pitying him when he has every chance to come out of his shell.
